Forex Options in brief

In the world of trading an option is a security. In more technical financial terms that security forming the basis of an option is called a derivative. By definition a derivative is a security the price of which is determined or derived according to fluctuations in the value of one or more specified assets. It is essentially a contract held between a party of two or more individuals. In forex trading forex options provide an opportunity for the retail trader to limit associated trading risks and increase desired profit.

There are two primary types of forex options accessible to the retail FOREX trader. These are:
1. The call/put option
2. The SPOT option (single payment option trading)
