Don’t get jealous. Get inspired!

Do you get inspired or jealous when you read about other people achieving success while you continue to struggle, even when you read that they were at one point where you are now? If you get jealous you should realize your jealousy is self-defeating. Get motivated. Tell yourself if they can do it you can do it too.
John Chow of Johnchow.com made $20,512.17 in blog income in the month of September alone (See: John Chow dot come income report September 2007). In August he made $17,828.61. In July $12,406.76 he made and in June he made $12,569.61
What have you made by comparison? Nothing? $30 bucks? $100 bucks? It totally sucks right? But you shouldn’t get angry because anger is a negative emotion that doesn’t motivate and you shouldn’t get jealous because jealousy is also a negative emotion that doesn’t motivate. Get inspired. John Chow was making about what you’re making now just last year according to his word. You might be where he is now a year from now if you keep at what you’re doing. You never know.
If you feel strongly about what you’re doing, have a passion for what you’re writing about and if your subject matter is relevant to what many other people have an interest in, just keep writing. Yeah, you’re your only audience member now but if your stuff is good, it won’t stay that way.
